The Cyclones had one more chance to face Kankakee Community College and nearly surpassed the Cavaliers until a walk-off single ended their playoff run.
Although the Cavaliers took the lead in the third inning, the Cyclones came back and tied it 2-2 after two more innings. Brooklynn Sedlak (2-for-3, RBI) doubled before Estelle Loth (2-for-4, 2 RBIs) drove her home on a single to center field. Then, after Teagan Krzystof was hit by a pitch, Londynn Sedlak (1-for-4, RBI) drove her home on a double to center. Kankakee retook the lead in the bottom of the sixth with some hits to go up 4-2. The Cyclones answered immediately with two RBI singles from Brooklynn Sedlak and Loth. However, in their final at-bat, the Cavaliers had some perfectly placed hits to break the tie and deal the Cyclones a 5-4 loss to end their season.
