The Cyclones took down the leading team in the conference, Morton College, in a narrow 4-3 victory.

On the mound, Carlos Flores helped shut down the Panthers' offense by striking out 10 over six innings and allowing just one earned run.

The Panthers scored first before the Cyclones got on the board in the bottom of the fifth after Aiden Radtke (1-for-4, RBI) crushed a homerun to make it 3-1. The next inning saw Valente Melero (2-for-4, RBI) drive another run home on a grounder to center field before Christian Deshazer (1-for-3, RBI) tied the game with an RBI single.

With two outs and two on (Aidan Roessler walked and Michael Swatkowski singled) in the bottom of the seventh, Andrew Phelan hit a pop fly, reaching base on a fielding error, which scored the go-ahead run. The following at-bats for the Panthers resulted in six easy outs that gave Moraine Valley the big conference victory.
