Despite outhitting Elgin Community College 11-to-9, the Cyclones fell 6-3.

Moraine Valley opened the scoring in the first after a wild pitch moved one run across the plate. However, the Spartans recaptured the lead over the next two innings. Neither team scored after that until the eighth. The Cyclones loaded the bases after Aiden Radtke (1-for-4) and Carlos Flores (1-for-5) singled, and Preston Lund (1-for-3) walked. Christian Deshazer (1-for-1, RBI) singled on a hard grounder to shortstop before Michael Swatkowski (RBI) grounded out but scored another run.

Valente Melero (3-for-5) and Michael Fiedor (2-for-4) each had doubles this game and led the Cyclones in hits.
