It was just one rough inning that hurt the Cyclones in their matchup with South Suburban College on the road.
Moraine Valley opened the scoring in the first inning after Anthony Gura (2-for-4) singled and ultimately scored on a passed ball. They held that lead until the fifth when the Bulldogs tied it on an RBI single. The following inning, however, saw the Bulldogs blow open a lead with a string of big hits to which the Cyclones were unable to counter for the ultimate 10-1 loss.
Nathan Bucio stepped on the hill first for the Cyclones, allowing five hits and one run over five innings and striking out one. Gura led the offense while Aiden Radtke and Valente Melero each had a hit this game.
