The Cyclones faced College of Lake County again, and despite strong pitching by Timothy Dobrik and big hits from Kyel Alexander, they dropped two more to the Lancers.
Despite a strong outing by starting pitcher Dobrik (six strikeouts, two earned runs), the Cyclones were unable to give any support at the plate. Only Johnathan Runquist was able to muster a hit in his team's 5-0 loss.
Although the Cyclones fell 10-4 in the closer, their bats were livelier. Alexander (3-for-4, double, 1 run), Thomas Moran (1-for-4) and Stephen Insley (1-for-3, 1 run) each earned an RBI. With these two games, the Cyclones dipped under .500 for the first time this season.
