The Cyclones got their mojo back with a solid 8-1 victory over Sauk Valley Community College.

Zackary Johnson had a tough battle at No. 1 singles, working through a three-set tiebreaker but falling just short (6-7 [2-7], 3-6 ). John Kenny at No. 2, Erik Astranskas at No. 4 and Jaykumar Patel at No. 5 had swift and precise matches with Astranskas collecting two bagels and Patel earning one. The Cyclones did earn some forfeit victories but made sure to make the rest of the points count in the other matches.
