A wet field made for a slick matchup between the Cyclones and McHenry County College last night, but Moraine Valley was able to make it work in their 4-1 victory.
The Cyclones took plenty of shots early, but weren't able to capitalize on it until near the 20th minute when Daniel Kasaggoma sliced one in the left corner to go up 1-0. The Scots also gave Bryan Hurtado in the net a few close calls, but he was able to make the saves. Omar Barragan slipped another one in the net at minute 39. With five minutes to go, the Cyclones allowed the Scots to score on a free kick to end the half 2-1. Rodrigo Gutierrez and Romaric Lawson added the final two goals in the second half. Tomasz Kulak, Bryan Gonzalez, Barragan and Kasaggoma each had assists as well.
